    Balanced review

I waited awhile to review this. I think it’s important to be accurate in a review. Fake reviews are evil and go against the spirit of a review, which is to give someone thinking about buying something the correct information. Anyways, the positives of these headphones are the noise cancelling and the sound quality. I have some very good phones to compare these to and the sound quality on these is legit good. The noise cancelling is top notch, at least as far as the tech allows it to go. I work in a loud shop and these do really good on some sounds and not so good on others. But I’ve tried cheaper noise cancelling phones and these are straight up better. The negatives to these are the price for one. But I guess that’s the going rate for good quality phones with among the best if not the best noise cancelling. The other negatives are some quirkiness to the controls. Sometimes they give me trouble turning on. They’ve always eventually turned on but sometimes I’ve had to try a few times. That should be fixed in a firmware update, unless it is a problem unique to mine. And the last gripe I have with them is the battery life. I mean, It’s stated at around 25 hours. I work 10 hours a day so I have to charge them every couple of days. For the price I would expect maybe a bigger battery. Overall they seem to be high quality and they are comfortable. So in conclusion, if you want to spend the money I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The few problems I list are annoying, but not deal breakers, at least not for me.

Truly QuietComfort Headphones With Amazing Sound

Excellent at cancelling out the noise and a great fit over the ears, very comfortable with amazing sound. Easy to use with the Bose App as well. I expect nothing less from Bose – excellent qualityMy last Pair of Bose headphones (not wireless) have lasted about 18 years, and only the ear pads had to be changed – my daughter uses them for work and loves them.

    Lightweight fun

A lot of people say this is plasticky, I agree but see this as a positive as the material choice keeps the headphones lighterMy friend bought this for me in trade for my pair of Airpods Max and honestly, I don’t miss the Apples at all. This sounds better (well, it’s 3-4 years newer), the reduced weight is my favourite part, and IT FOLDS (Sennheiser, Apple, Sony, etc. take note jfc)The app is total crap but it doesn’t warrant taking a star off this review

Not perfect, but Best Noise Cancelling Experience

Hands down the best noise cancelling experience you will get from any headphones. Note these are not as comfortable as the Bose NC700, but if Noise Cancellation is your main priority, this is a must-buy! Here are some things that I like: 1) Small and compact case for travelling. 2) You can customize the noise control and modes in the App so you can quickly cycle through those modes on the headphone. 3) Extremely light, makes wearing this for hours great. Here is what I didn’t like: 1) The clamping force was too strong, and broke the arm of my glasses. 2) The volume button is a touch-sensitive slider which makes getting accurate volume hard. 3) For some reason, the ear pads get distorted when putting them properly in the case. This might impact the life of the ear pads and make them wear down faster. 4) No way to turn off noise cancellation. It’s either various noise cancellation levels or microphone on for various levels of awareness. 5) Immersive Audio is a gimmick. No point in using this as it wastes battery life. 6) Only supports Snapdragon devices for high-quality Audio. iOS users won’t have the highest audio experience.

    Such bad design

TLDRI’m obsessed with ANC headphones, I own several high-end pairs including Bose, Sony and Apple. The Bose Ultras aren’t worth the money. They operate like they were designed by a committee and no one tried actually using them for a week to see if they have design flaws (which they have a LOT of). I bought these because my QuietComfort-45 are my favourite headphones so far, so I thought the Ultras would be great, but the Ultras are trash compared to the QC45s. I wouldn’t recommend buying the Ultras to anyone unless they were on sale for at least 80% off. Seriously, that’s how flawed they are. 1 out of 5 stars because they’re worth 1/5 of their full price…PROS- Top notch noise cancelling. Where my Sony XM4 was 5/5, the Ultra is 4.5/5 indoors and 4/5 outdoors.- Pretty comfortable. Good weight, good squeeze level, good earpad cushions. Where the QuietComfort-45 is 5/5, the QC-Ultra is 4/5, XM4 is 3.5/5 (comfortable at first but the cushions collapse after 6 months) and the Airpods Max is 2/5 (very heavy, way too much squeeze).CONS- Terrible controls. You change the ANC mode by pressing and holding the Play/Pause button for two seconds. Imagine someone’s trying to talk to you from the next room and you want to switch the ANC mode. You hold down the button for two seconds, then it triggers and says “aware!”, and then you get to hear them. It’s way too long. It makes the passthrough mode useless because you’ll always end up just pulling off the headphones so you can hear without waiting. That’s IF you only use Quiet and Aware mode, you almost certainly want to set up an Outdoor mode so you can use the Wind Block feature. Now you have to toggle two modes, press and hold twice to get to Aware mode. It’s unusable.- Terrible automation. The headphones have a sleep mode and YOU CAN’T DISABLE IT. You can disable the auto-shutoff, but the headphones go into sleep mode after a few minutes no matter what. Sleep mode disconnects bluetooth. You set the headphones down on your desk for just a few minutes, then you put them back on and you have to wait a couple seconds for them to wake up, then another couple seconds for them to reconnect by bluetooth, then you still don’t hear anything for a second because you’re hearing the bluetooth-reconnection sound effects for two different devices reconnecting. It’s incredibly frustrating. You would think you could disable sleep mode in the settings, but you can’t.- Bose still doesn’t know how to cancel out wind-noise, you hear the wind. They added a “Wind Block” toggle and it makes the wind less noisy but degrades the regular active noise cancelling (ANC).- Mediocre audio passthrough (aka transparency mode, aka Aware Mode). The audio passthrough sounds unnatural, quiet sounds like laptop fans get magnified. It works, but it’s not great. Where the Airpods Max transparency mode is 5/5 these would be 3/5, the QC45 and XM4 would be 4/5.- I don’t like the continuous adjustment. I like headbands that click, so I can find the adjustment I like and be able to quickly put it back after taking the headphones out of my bag. This is a personal preference.- Earcups turn outwards too easily. I like being able to take my headphones off my neck and put them back on my head with one-hand, for example, when I’m holding a coffee in my other hand. I can do that really easily with my QC-45 but with these the earcup you’re not holding always fold outwards. As a result, you need two hands free to put them on.MEH- Good sound quality (as expected for this price).- Good microphone (the XM4 is better).- Good touch-control volume. I hate touch controls, they don’t work when you’re wearing gloves and are easy to trigger accidentally when adjusting the headphones position on your head. Touch controls are the main reason I don’t buy the Sony XM5, because I HATED the touch controls on my XM4s. That being said, the touch-control volume on the QC Ultra works pretty well and I rarely trigger it by accident.

Tried them all. This is the most isolating, the most comfortable and the most well made of them all. Long battery life. Very good sound. Folds neatly into its small case. Bose is chosen by airline pilots for a reason.

    Absolutely brilliant product

Love everything about the headphone/headset.The bluetooth connectivity is breeze and the sleep/wake up mode is really fast and accurate as it detects the headset being worn. The only con i have is the battery life lasts for a day and required to be charged. But it is not a deal breaker.I use this more for Microsoft Teams call or phone call, the audio is crystal clear and the mic is pretty good. The NC is definitely very good for the cost of the headphones.

Hi Res Sound requires aptX Lossless codec source

[UPDATE]: I bought a Sennheiser Consumer Audio BTD 600 dongle with aptX Adaptive & HD codecs, and now these Bose sound splendid, as warm as Focal Bathys. Updating to 4 stars, as they do not fit my small head well.If you buy these for Hi Res sound quality make sure you have an aptX Lossless source. You will discover there are few such devices (cell phones and tablets) that give you Snapdragon sound, at least in Canada.Otherwise, nice, light design, and Sony XM4 equivalent of noise cancellation. Used them both on long flights, and Sony is better due to longer battery life with similar NC. You can find XM4s now much cheaper than this Bose model.

    Incroyable!

    Nothing less expected from Bose

I had Bose CQ700, Sony XM4 as well as AirPods Max … I decided to give the CQ Ultra a try after giving the ones I had to my family members.CQ Utra is really giving me great experience to listen to Music, Podcasts, Audible and watch movies. As well as and participate in meetings online. It is comparable to AirPods Max but lighter weight and more comfortable to ware for long hours. I yet to try the noise cancelling in long-haul flight .. but I can tell it will be amazing.

    Not worth it

Although the sound is amazing, noise cancelling is not even as good as my 6 year old Sony wh1000 mx3.And the app is just atrocious compared to Sony. Sony has *11* noise cancelling level, Bose has 3.I DO NOT recommend this product, even more so given its 550$ price tag

    Ultra discomfort

This is the fourth Bose noise cancelling headset that we’ve owned and my least favourite. I found the controls spotty and confusing, the volume control was not easily accessed. Silly I know, but I just guessed that the bluetooth button turned on the headphones, it wasn’t clear. The sound quality is “okay”. I’ve never been a huge fan of the Bose sound on their noise cancelling headphones and this one didn’t blow me away either, but none of the noise cancelling headphone have top audio. Found the mic quality poor. What I’ve always loved with Bose though, is how amazingly comfortable they were. This one was like a vise on my head and I don’t have a particularly large head. I had a headache after about 30 minutes. I ended up returning the Bose and ordering a Sony

very nice upgrade from my old sony

sound cancellation is great. Would have liked more 1000hz to 4000hz attenuation (I work in a manufacture) but overall great. I love the multi connect, love the auto-pause when I remove the hearphones. Only gripe is that the function to hear yourself while talking on the phone does not seem to work.great stuff overall glad I got em.

Connecting by external audio cable does not work AT ALL

I find with most headphones that the dropout you get with bluetooth is negated and you have a smoother experience with a 3.5mm audio cable. Not with Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones ($550 retail). Their cable connection to a Mac simply does NOT work. I’m past the refund date. I’m so disappointed. Spent time on the chat app on the Bose site. They sent me back to Amazon after Amazon sent me to them. Quite a run-around. I’ll never buy from Bose or Amazon again.

    Don’t waste your money

I loved my QC 35 IIs. They stood up to 7 years of daily use. When they died there was no question I would go Bose again. Not these Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. Not even close. 1) If you take them off while listening to something, they are very difficult to get connected again. 2) The power button does not respond a lot of the time and then just randomly starts working as intended. 3) Touch controls on headphones are troublesome. I am forever accidentally turning the volume up and down, pausing and skipping. Frustrating. 4) The touch volume slider is a failure. I find it near impossible to set the volume and (like I said above) it seems to only work accidentally, when I don’t want to change the volume. 5) Can we talk about how hot the usb c port and cable get when charging?! Bose, you disappoint me. I have wasted $500

Premium design and premium price but some inconsistencies

I’ve tried it out a few times over the past 5 days and I’ve experienced different errors already (and sometimes they correct themselves, so it’s been an inconsistent experience):- Play/pause button doesn’t always work (2x, 3x press is ok for some reason)- 2nd device Bluetooth connection is inconsistent.. sometimes I have no issues swapping between phone and Macbook, once or twice I’ve had to forget the Bluetooth connection and add the device as if it was new- Aux cord doesn’t work when 0% battery (also mic didn’t work during a test when plugged in)- I once charged overnight and it maxed at 70% the next morning- I’m ok if these are one-time occurrences but I’m hesitant to keep them for the long haul in case the issues become permanentI really wanted to love/keep this, since I love the design/colors available, feel, the compact case, and the fact it folds unlike the Sony XM5 or Sennheiser Momentum 4. It’s too bad because I would expect quality control to be higher for this price point.Edit: forgot to mention the product box came damaged, so maybe it was dropped in delivery (headphones and case were 100% ok – no physical damage)

Don’t fix something that isn’t broken.

I really like my Bose qc45’s. The physical buttons and bluetooth connectivity were intuitive and were pleasant to operate. Now I feel constantly frustrated, trying to get connections to work or simply use them for the most basic use cases. Having to remember what button combination held for what period of time fixes the $500 catastrophe of product design I’ve gotten myself into. Connecting to multiple devices is a complete and utter nightmare, so instead you just have to forget all connections everytime you switch devices. I have to clear all history of connections on the headphones by holding down two buttons at the same time for 5 seconds. This only sometimes works and it can be just the “function” button? It’s actually insane. Then I need to go to the device I want to connect to and forget the bluetooth connection. And then re-add it. Maybe it catches, maybe it doesn’t and I have to repeat the process. If I ever have the audacity to try and have my phone and laptop as devices on the “utras”, my music or video playing will AUTO PAUSE a half second after hitting play. I press play, and the headphones pause the media. No one asked for this functionality. If I wanted this “it just works” feature barrage garbage I’d have spent the money on Apple products. It’s infuriating. Best part is you can’t turn off these features. And the headphones are basically feature locked until you accept terms and conditions and download an app. Do not recommend, stick with the qc45’s until this $500+ paperweight get’s recalled or a serious firmware update. Even then, the buttons are extremely low quality, and unintuitive. Capacitive volume control was a huge mistake as well. Man I need to just return these headphones. They sound great,The Mics Good,The battery is good,This is why I bought these instead of the 45s. Unfortunately an over ambitious product team absolutely missed the mark here.

    So disappointed

This product does not deliver on its claims. The immersion noise cancelling setting does not cancel out enough. On plane can still hear babies crying, ambient noise etc unless you are playing music or a video. Ear cups are uncomfortable after an hour of wearing ( I have small ears ). Battery life is not as advertised and at best I get 3 hrs. Sound quality is good as you would expect from Bose.

Great comfort and sound but constant device disconnection issues makes them unusable

I’ve owned a lot of Bose headphones over the years and always content with their product. They don’t have the advantage of native software support like Apple products, but overall the product value was always very good compared to other products out there. To be clear the comfort, sound quality and noise cancellation features of the QuietComfort Ultra are fantastic but the Bluetooth multi-device support and auto-on/off features contribute directly to the stoppage of connected device media from continuously playing.I found that the headphones have to be directory over your ears, so head position and activities that may move the headset, will cause the media to pause because of the sensor in the ear cup. Apparently, I need to disable the Auto-on/off feature to stop this but I shouldn’t have to do this. Apple does this really well.Unfortunately I feel that I wasted my money. I’m going to try to return them, but I don’t they’ll accept themI also dislike the button design. Just give me buttons for power, media navigation, volume and connectivity. The two buttons they have now aren’t intuitive or responsive enough for me. I additionally don’t like the touch volume feature because I can’t get the volume precision I want, so I continuously have to pull out my phone.

Noise floor is absolutely unacceptable for this price

These are by far the most premium (price-wise) bluetooth headphones I have ever purchased and I was completely shocked as soon as I turned them on when I heard the white noise when ANC is on (QUIET MODE) with music volumes being low or between tracks. The hissing (white noise) matches the quality of some very cheap headphones I have. I cannot believe BOSE released this product with such a glaring defect.Upon some searching online, I found this to be ‘normal’ for these headphones. Many have returned them for this very reason. I applied a software update hoping this would address the problem but the noise floor remains at the exact same horrible level. It is fine to expect a little white noise in ANC mode but these headphones are by far the worst I have ever used.It is too distracting so I will be sending these back as I cannot settle with this flaw considering how expensive they are. Not a great first impression of Bose for me.

3rd headphone of 3 ordered has also proven to be defective!!

Update as of 8-2-24This getting so silly, I now have to follow it to it’s possibly ridiculous conclusion.I received my replacement unit from BOSE today. YAY!. It made it to me in a short period of time. (maybe they are practiced at it by now?).Opened the box and said, ‘Please work, please work, please work’.The test is in taking a walk, as that is when I usually use the headphones. Off I went. All sounded very BOSE great. YAY!. For about 20 minutes, then the evil creak / squeak in the left ear cup re-appeared. WTF? again? No!!! – Yup. Oh Crap. The third time was not the charm. So……I called BOSE Philippine support and said, ‘OK, this is now the third time I’ve had a defective device. Lets just call it even and you give me my money back ? Hmmm?Uh, no we can’t do that because you bought it thru AMAZON.You are telling me , you won’t stand behind your product, even after I, a way too tolerant / patient customer, have had to go through 3 of the same defective products, that is a known product issue, as noted in a series of forums on REDDIT? – Correct. But , we you will send me a 4th replacement item and say ‘give it a try’. ? – Correct!.** At a loss for words **I was sent a shipping label to send the headphones back to BOSE – again.OK, lets see if, out of their inventory, they will / can send me a squeak-free $550.00CAD BOSE QC Wireless Ultra headphone. Not sure what to cross this time?Shall update as the BOSE non-squeaky headphone lottery continues.I guess I really am a masochist.—————————————-Update as of 7-17-24I guess I’m a masochist when it comes to these headphones. When I got them the other day, I went for 1 hr walk to enjoy the BOSE experience. Great Audio and ANC. However, by the time I got home there was a noticeable squeak / creak in the right ear cup, this time. Aaaaaaargh. A updated REDDIT forum had folks saying that as of the above date, they were still having similar product quality issues. (Sigh). I contacted Jay in BOSE offshore support. After the usual troubleshooting steps, to try and fix a squeaking plastic part with a headphone reset, I was sent a shipping label to send the headphones back to BOSE. It will take about 4 weeks.I tried the Seinheiser Momentum 4 in the interim. Not even close. Meanwhile, my older Beats Studio3’s keep on chugging along. Why are today’s latest tech, and quality , mutually exclusive elements.?Third time is the charm?.Fingers crossed.——————————————Update as of 7-14-24Gonna give the BOSE QuietComfort Ultra headphones another chance. – 7-14-24I really enjoyed the Audio Quality and Noise Cancellation of the Ultra headphones. However, the creak / rattle in the left ear cup was too distracting, so I returned them, in January of ’24, hoping the passage of time will see the quality issue being acknowledged and acted upon. So………I’ve ordered another set to see how I do.Shall update in a week.—————————————-UPDATE as of 1-17-24:I am rescinding my recommendation for the BOSE QuietComfort Ultra headphones, until BOSE ups its quality control game. I am returning the unit for a refund.I had been very impressed with these BOSE QuietComfort Ultra headphones for the past few weeks. It was all that the Reviewers were raving about. Yay!! A wise buying choice. Yay!!However, within the past week I have noticed a squeak / rattle coming from the left ear cup. It occurs when I am walking. That sound distracts from the enjoyment of listening to music in the wonderful BOSE Immersion Mode. It has become more pronounced in the past couple of days.In searching online for a possible solution, I came across a Reddit BOSE forum that was discussing this very topic – Oh no?.These headphones have only been on the market since Oct of 2023. The forum member discussion suggested that it was more than a rare occurrence. Disappointing to say the least. My BEATS Studio3 headphones just keep chugging along. I’ve replaced headband components and ear pads on it, but the audio has been consistent.I considered speaking with BOSE to see about a possible replacement, but the Reddit BOSE forum also indicated a replacement unit may yield the same results. (A bad batch?). At that price point more disappointment. I just want to wear them, enjoy them and forget about them – for years. Not wondering, in the back of my mind, ‘Will they fail soon / again?’ The hassle quotient is getting too high.My search continues.———————–Original: Listening to music is very personal. This headset is a winner for meListened to a couple of YT videos that offered a direct audio comparison.A number of choices are available to customize your listening experience.- The EQ can be tweaked to your preference.- You can set up personalized, individual EQ settings to enhance different music genresThe Immersion Mode is amazing. It’s like walking thru the world wonderfully removed from all the hub-bub.The Aware Mode is handy for crossing streets etc.. and easily conversing with people when necessary.Phone call clarity is very good.Soft ear pads, that completely cover my earsComfortable on my head.Music is personal, so there is no perfect product. 500$+ for… basically nothing.

ANC is fine, sound is nice, great, what you’d expect from headphones. But jesus doing ANYTHING with those is such a hassle. Everything from turning them on to off is a struggle. Turning them on : 2-4 seconds after pressing the button… Or not. Maybe try it again until they decide to turn on. Turning them off? Same story. Never know when it’ll happen. I always have to press the button for a few seconds, wait for the telling chime that it’s shutting off, realizing it’s never coming, then pressing the off button again until it finally works. Then the actual sounds and music are nice, yes, until it randomly pauses and you have to manually play it again, until you’ve had enough and go to disable auto play/pause (basically the head detection features that allows your headphones to see whether you’re wearing them or not) so it won’t happen again. (Such a shame having to disable a 500$ headphones feature just to get them to execute the most basic function.) The multi-connection thing is a good idea, on paper, being able to have multiple devices connected so no matter where you’re playing from it’ll always come out of your headphones. Until it just simply doesn’t work. It will not let you play from another device than a main one. So you disable this feature and go to manually switch between your devices (which takes another few seconds to pair) by pressing the buttons in the back. (Another feature of these 500$ headphones that just doesn’t serve a purpose??? What am I paying for at this point? Fancy ear warmers?)Disappointed in myself for having thrown out the box and getting myself stuck with these since I can’t return them for full refund anymore. The headphones ARE nice, as long as you keep your usage minimal and as simplistic as possible : turn them on, connect to device, enjoy, turn off. Anything else will make you question your financial decisions. As these can basically only execute a single action at once—playing sound—there’s really no excuse for them to be priced so high.

Impressive immersive audio but unimpressive NC

The most impressive thing about this is the immersive audio option. When turned on, it really sounds as if you don’t have earphones on. However, your environment needs to be quiet. But if you need it for Nc then this is not better (and perhaps even a little worst) then the Sony xm5 which is less expensive. This is not worth the premium. I bought it thinking it would be better but it was very dissapointing. This is far from the performance I expected so returned.

    Noise cancellation is astounding

I bought these as an upgrade to the classic Quiet Comfort phones I’ve had for many years. The convenience of wireless and rechargeable batteries is wonderful and the sound quality is amazing.

    They’re great!

So I was worried about these, after reading a couple of the reviews.. mainly the long one that lists the pros/cons+meh.. BUT, no, these are great. You can always complain about something, and that person missed their calling as a critic, because they’re just notably good at picking good things apart. I think the sound is excellent, the build is quality, and honestly it’s not hard to push aside one speaker if you need to hear what someone is saying asap – if you lift or shift the right ear away, it pauses automatically. The range is excellent; I can move to different levels of my house and go outside without any glitching. It switches easily between my phone and laptop. The noise canceling is SO NICE. Anyway, I would recommend these to almost anyone. If you think they’re too expensive, buy something cheaper, but a hundred $ more or less isn’t a big deal for me – I would pay that (and have) just for a colour scheme that I find more appealing. My husband has the Sony XM5 and I like these better.

    Great Sound, Terrible Software

I purchased these for use at the office. The noise-cancelling is incredible; it’s almost like being in an isolation tank. The sound is good too, as you’d expect from Bose. That said, I’ve had nearly constant connectivity problems. If I pause audio for more than 2-3 minutes, the headphones disconnect from my laptop and/or my phone. And they won’t reconnect. The headphones enter some sort of zombie state, neither on nor off. To get them connected again, I have to remove them from my pc/phone’s bluetooth, hold both buttons on the headphones for 20 seconds, then let my device rediscover and reconnect. Doing this several times a day is a pain, to say the least.Looking through forums and reviews, I’m far from alone. Surely Bose knows there’s an issue, but nearly 10 months after their release there still isn’t a software or firmware fix. They haven’t even acknowledged that there’s a problem.Until the bluetooth drops are addressed, I can’t recommend these headphones. It’s a shame, because they’re otherwise a well-built, great-sounding pair of headphones. Save yourself $100 and get the Sony WH-1000XM5 instead.

    Amazing ANC works as expected

This is an awesome product and was delivered to me just 2 days after ordering. DONT EXPECT a puncher sound because this is an OVER EAR HEADPHONE not like what you would expect a buds or something all over ear just works that way. This is soo comfy to wear for hours, even serves as good earmuffs since they cover the entire ear and is a bit warm. Sound quality is the best but just for chilling music, walk, light workouts or a jog at best but not for those heavy moving exercise moments.

    Amazing Noise Cancellation

Love the sound quality on these headphones but the noise cancellation is where they really shine. There’s construction happening right beside my apartment and they’re blocking most of the noise from literal jackhammers. It’s an uncanny feeling having a sound rumble through your body but not being able to hear it.

    Great headphones

The Bose headphones is above quality and sound compared to other headphones. Noise cancelling is perfect, the quality of the material is high grade and the sound it produces is of the highest standard. I recommend it.

    Outside world who?

Honestly, it amazes me.Plus it has more features than I remembered reading.Switching to Quiet mode had me forget that cars made noise without the volume on max, and I was always surprised at how much noise was going on whenever I switched back to Aware mode.Sound quality is immaculate as always.Honestly, there’s a reason I always promote Bose when I step outside, and coming from the lower end QuietComfort, this is reason number ONE.

Best NC headphones on the market

As of May 8th 2024, subjectively best noise cancelling headphones on the market. Sometimes it feels like there is cabin pressue but does not occur very often. Sound is pretty good too, not an audiophile but it sounds amazing.

    Not Impressed…

Right out of the box I can say that the sound quality on these is not the best. Music sounds muffled and the immersive mode is gimmicky. I’d rather use the Momentum 4 for better sound quality or Sony XM5 for better noise cancellation. The AirPods Max on sale are far superior as well. Bowers and Wilkins and B&Os are a price tier above.
